Abstract

The swimming pool unit is manufactured in concrete or other suitable material and the underwater shape is similar to that of a ship. The area which surrounds the pool (2) consists of a beach, a bar, and restaurant, as well as a dance floor and solarium. There is also lower saloon accommodation. The outside of the hull is shaped to prevent waves breaking over the edge. A low powered engine will drive the unit through the water and will provide power and light. Pontoons are located outside the floats to act as landing stages. The float is of use where seal bathing is inadvisable.
