Abstract

The method of developing offset printing plates, related in particular to composite flexible plates mounted on a circular support driven around its longitudinal axis, in a recipient, whilst being plunged into a treating fluid contained in the recipient. The container is emptied after a treating operation and after wiping and rinsing the offset printing plaques mounted on the support, is filled with another treating liquid. The support is moved through the treating fluid at a speed which varies according to the treatment operation, this movement being uniform or consisting of alternate pivoting in both rotational senses.
