Abstract
The indicator has a cylindrical form and comprises a lower casing of stainless steel. The bottom is plugged and contains a centrally mounted bimetal terminal. The second terminal is vertically above the first, being cranked and adjustable for setting required temperature. This second terminal is encased in an insulation bush, its top end being in contact with one pole of series connected batteries which are fitted in another stainless steel casing. Continuity between casings is through an outer annular ring. The other battery pole is in contact with the warning element in the top. A support clip allows the indicator to be clipped over the edge of a saucepan.
