Abstract
A heat exchanger unit which may be used alone on an electric motor or with one or two others on further sides, consists of several rows of rectangular section tubes (3) piled on one another, through which cold air passes, spaced apart by U channels (6), and the air to be coded passes through these spaces (9). The air to be cooled enters and leaves through one side at right angles to the cooling air flow (15) passing in a zig zag path around angle baffles (11, 12, 13) also at right angles to the coding tubes (3). The two entry openings (20, 21) for the air to be cooled are connected to the air supply and delivery for the motor.
