Abstract

The piece is particularly for use when installing prefabricated partition walls, and consists of a block or strip composed of a number of thin layers glued together. The strength of the glue is appreciably less than that of the layers, which can be of wood or hardboard. A compressible layer, of foam or other suitable material, can be provided as a cladding on one or both sides. The thin layers which may be a few mm thick, are formed into a laminated block which may be covered with compressible foam for decorative purposes.
