Abstract

The machine is particularly for filling cartons with bottles, and has a grating above which the items are aligned in rows by a first mechanism. A second mechanism aligns a carton underneath the grating, which has a series of oblong bodies, the intervals between which are such as to allow the items to slide between them. Guide bodies are mounted at intervals along the oblong bodies, forming square-section passages for the items, and consists of rigid arms extending downwards, pivoting on the oblong bodies at the passage corners. The arms extend towards the centres of the passages, swinging towards the corners of the latter as the items pass through.
