Abstract

The lid is formed at one end of the box, so that the entire end is part of the lid. The flap side of the lid is longer than the hinge side. The carton lid may be reclosed after opening, and the hinge may be folded over to allow the lid to overlap the carton and form a firm closure. The carton can be filled by standard type powder fillers unlike similar cartons used for cigarettes. The single sheet construction facilitates quantity production of the carton.
