Abstract

Dosing chamber for injection moulding machines, esp. for elastomers is assembled by coaxially fitting together two sleeves, the internal sleeve forming the dosing chamber itself, which is fed by a screw and acts, at the moment of injection, as a cylindrical jacket for the screw, whose front part acts as a piston, and the external sleeve forming a cover maing a tangent in a sealed manner with the top of a helical thread on the periphery of the internal sleeve, so as to form a helical path for a heating fluid, for which an inlet and an outlet are provided. Excellent control and stabilisation of the temp. in the dosing chamber.
