Abstract

Twin slotted cheeks cantilevering from each flank of the appliance house twin lugs on each end of the work top, thus permitting the work top to lie horizontally perpendicular to the vert. blade or to swing up to lie parallel to and abutting the blade. Each slot (19) is L shaped, open at the front, and the leg extends below the bar to form a stop (23). Lugs (18, 17) align vertically and locate in the slot leg extremities (21, 22) when the top (15) is horizontal. A slight elevation of the table is required for the lower lug (18) to clear the stop, escape into the bar (20) and permit top rotation.
