Abstract

The plastics casing for the drain, is cylindrical, sunk below ground level, has telescopic inner and outer sleeves, for height adjustment, with a n outlet for a pipe (6) at the bottom, and with a sealing ring (5) at the top between the inner and outer sleeves, and a cover (3) at the top. Lower down, a D shaped ledge (14) supports a cup shaped basket (2) which can be easily lifted out when the cover is removed. The water trap situated at teh bottom, under this ledge (14) is formed by a vertical wall (16) projected up from the bottom (17) of the inner sleeve (1) and another vertical wall (11) hanging from the ledge.
