Abstract

Wrapping foil is multi layered and comprises, e.g. a paper, parchment or plastics base sheet on which the following successive layers are deposited; separating layer comprising of plastics and white pigments, black pigments containing plastics layer, two metal pigments e.g. Al containing plastics and a transparent plastics cover layer. The black, pigment containing layer is light impermeable, and in the separating layer the ratio of plastics to white pigment is such that the pigment protrudes above the dried plastics layer.
