Abstract

A compostor comprises a mixing vessel 1 having mixing members for mixing the substances to be composted, reactor vessels 2, 3 for the actual composting and a conveyor 5 for transporting the mixed mass from the mixing vessel 1 to the reactor vessel 2, 3. The reactor vessel 2, 3 is placed inside the mixing vessel 1 and the conveyor comprises a scraper conveyor which moves around the reactor vessel 2, 3, which conveyor is arranged to lower the mixed mass into the reactor vessel 2, 3. <IMAGE>
