Abstract

Keksinnön kohteena ovat elastomeerien polyalfaolefiinipehmittimet sekä polyalfaolefiineja sisältävä elastomeerikoostumukset. Polyalfaolefiineja voidaan käyttää elastomeerien ja elastomeerejä sisältävien seoksien pehmitinaineina pehmittämään tuotteen kovuutta ja saamaan taipuisampia, alempiin käyttölämpötiloihin soveltuvia ja jäännöspuristimaltaan parempia tuotteita. Keksinnön mukainen pehmitinainetta sisältävä elastomeerikoostumus käsittää 20 - 95 p-% elastomeeria tai elastomeerien seosta ja 5-60 p-% polyalfaolefiinia tai polyalfaolefiinien seosta.The invention relates to polyalphaolefin plasticizers for elastomers and elastomer compositions containing polyalphaolefins. Polyalphaolefins can be used as plasticizers for elastomers and mixtures containing elastomers to soften the hardness of the product and to obtain more flexible products suitable for lower operating temperatures and better residual extrusion. The elastomer composition containing a plasticizer according to the invention comprises 20-95 wt% elastomer or a mixture of elastomers and 5-60 wt% polyalphaolefin or a mixture of polyalphaolefins.
