Claims (7)
1. Förfarande för att driva en elektrolytisk cell där anod- och katodavdelningama är separerade med en jonbytesmembran, kännetecknat av att drivspänningen 5 av nämnda cell minskas genom att upprätthälla en katolyt i nämnda katodavdelning vid en temperatur som är ätminstone ca 10 °C högre än anolytens i nämnda anodav-delning.
2. Förfarande enligt patentkrav 1, kännetecknat därav, att nämnda 10 anolyttemperatur är ca 40° tili ca 55 °C.
3. Förfarande enligt patentkrav 1 eller 2, kännetecknat därav, att nämnda katolyttemperatur stiger tili ca 90 °C. 15
4. Förfarande enligt nägot av patentkraven 1-3, kännetecknat därav, att nämnda anolyt innefattar en vattenhaltig natriumsaltlösning, natriumjoner överförs frän anodavdelningen tili katodavdelningen, anolyten surgörs med en elektrolys-reaktion i nämnda cell och katolyten alkaliseras med elektrolysreaktioner i nämnda cell. 20
