Claims (6)

1. Förfarande för framställning av en stärkelsemodifika-tion, kännetecknat därav, att stärkelsen spjälkes med en katalyserad väteperoxidoxidation och stabiliseras genom acetylesterifikation kombinerad med tvärbindning av stärkelsen.
2. Förfarandet enligt patentkravet 1, kännetecknat därav, att vid spjälkning av stärkelsen används veteperoxid i en mängd av mellan 0,1 - 2 % mängden stärkelse.
3. Förfarande enligt patentkravet 1, kännetecknat därav, att vid oxidationen används kopparsulfat säsom katalysa-tor in en mängd av 0,01 - 0,02 % av mängden stärkelnse.
4. Förfarande enligt patentkraven 1-3, kännetecknat därav, att stärkelsen stabiliseras genom esterifikation med ättiksyraanhydrid och genom tvärbindning med adipinsyra.
5. Förfarandet enligt patentkrav 4, kännetecknat därav, att adipinsyran löses i ättiksyraanhydriden före acetyle-ringen.
• 6. Användning av en enligt patentkraven 1-5 framställd stärkelsemodikation vid ytlimning av papperet och som bindemedel i en bestrykningspasta. 9
