EL AGENTE REDUCTOR, EVENTUALMENTE UNA MEZCLA CON UN GAS PORTADOR, Y LOS GASES DE ESCAPE, QUE CONTIENEN LOS OXIDOS DE NITROGENO QUE SE HAN DE REDUCIR, SE PONEN EN CONTACTO PERIODICAMENTE DE MODO ALTERNADO CON EL CUERPO SOLIDO QUE ACTUA CATALITICAMENTE O CON TRAMOS DEL MISMO.
