PROCEDIMIENTO Y APARATO PARA LA OXIDACION CATALITICA DE ETILENO, CON OXIGENO MOLECULAR, A OXIDO DE ETILENO, EN UN REACTOR DE LECHO FIJO, EN EL QUE SE UTILIZA UN CATALIZADOR DE PLATA SOPORTADO EN TUBOS MULTIPLES RODEADOS POR UN FLUIDO QUE DISIPAN EL CALOR EXOTERMICO DE REACCION.EL PROCEDIMIENTO CONSISTE EN PROPORCIONAR UNA ZONA DE DISTRIBUCION DE REFRIGERANTE QUE ESTE CONTIGUA AGUAS ABAJO DE LA ZONA DE ENFRIAMIENTO, EN LA QUE LOS GASES EFLUENTES SE ENCUENTRAN EN FLUJO DE BAJA TURBULENCIA.
