Abstract

1. Un procedimiento mejorado para la conversión de olefinas en ésteres carboxílicos, en el que una diolefina conjugada que tiene la fórmula-01: **(Fórmula-01)** en la R¿y R¿¿ son cada uno independientemente H, alcohilo saturado o arilo, y R¿¿¿ es H o metilo, es carbonilada mediante la adición a la misma en las posiciones 1 y 4 de monóxido de carbono y un alcohol de la fórmula ROH para formar un éster dicarboxílico insaturado que tiene la fórmula-02: **(Fórmula-02)** en la que R es alralcohilo o alcohilo saturado, comprendiendo la mejora cargar en un recipiente de reacción la diolefina, una sal de cobre (II), una base nucleófila seleccionada del grupo que consta de aminas, carbonatos y sales de metales alcalinos y alcalino-térreos de ácidos carboxílicos, una cantidad catalíticamente eficaz de una sal de paladio (II), y cantidades de monóxido de carbono y alcohol iguales o mayores que el equivalente estequiométrico de diolefina, y someter el contenido del recipiente cargado, en ausencia de agua y oxígeno, a una presión de monóxido de carbono y una temperatura suficientes para efectuar la reacción de carbonilación, caracterizándose además dicho procedimiento porque la cantidad de sal de cobre (II) y la cantidad de base empleada es igual a por lo menos un equivalente molar de sal de cobre (II).
