Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un procedimiento para la preparación de materiales en forma de hoja de tipo parecido el cuero que incluye las operaciones que consisten en: (1) preparar fibras compuestas huecas, constituidas cada una por 16 a 96 segmentos dispuestos alternativamente de poliester o poliamida y poliestireno, que están adheridos mutuamente los unos al lado de los otros y que rodean un espacio hueco, y que se extienden a lo largo del eje longitudinal, teniendo dicha fibra compuesta hueca un denier de 1 a 20, y teniendo cada segmento un denier de 0,001 a 0,5; (2) formar un tejido utilizando las fibras compuestas huecas así preparadas; (3) separar de las fibras compuestas huecas los segmentos de poliestireno con un solvente adeduado; y (4) aplicar un polímero elástico al tejido.
