Abstract

Procedimiento para la preparación de nitrilos de ácidos grasos de la fórmula R1(R2, R3)-CN y de glicerina mediante la reacción con amoniaco de mono-, di y triglicéridos de la fórmula general **Fórmula** en la que R1, R2 y R3, que pueden ser iguales o diferentes, significan radicales hidrocarbonados alifáticos de 3 a 23 átomos de carbono, pudiendo estos radicales estar sustituidos eventualmente con un grupo OH, o mezclas de tales glicéridos, en fase líquida, eventualmente con adición de gas inerte, a temperaturas elevadas y en presencia de catalizadores, caracterizado porque el glicérido se pone en contacto íntimo con una corriente de amoniaco de por lo menos 200 litros/kg de glicérido y hora, a temperaturas de 220 a 300ºC, en presencia de sales de plomo, zinc, cadmio, estaño, titanio, zirconio, cromo, antimonio, manganeso, hierro, níquel o cobalto, de ácidos carboxílicos o ácidos sulfónicos, en calidad de catalizadores, y porque la mezcla de productos retirada se somete a una separación defases, en una fase de nitrilo de ácido graso y una fase de glicerina/agua.
