Abstract
Procedimiento para la obtención de zeolita A con un tamaño de los cristales esencialmente entre 0,1 y micras, por reacción hidrotérmica de caolina calcinada con hidróxidos alcalinos acuosos, caracterizado porque la caolina se pulveriza en una corriente de gas calentado a una temperatura desde unos 600ºC hasta 1000ºC y, después de un tiempo de residencia en esta corriente gaseosa de unos 0,01 hasta 5 segundos, se suspende a una temperatura superior a 300ºC en una solución acuosa conteniendo aproximadamente un 4 hasta 20% en peso de hidróxido sódico y la suspensión resultante se mantiene durante unas 0,5 hasta 6 horas a una temperatura entre unos 70ºC hasta 100ºC.
