Abstract

To prepare low-dust dye and optical brightener preparations, a mixture comprising at least one dye or optical brightener, a tackifier (coupling agent, adhesive, adhesion promoter), a dustproofing agent and a further additive is admixed with an inorganic salt preheated to at least 50 DEG C. The preparations produced by this process are low-dust to dust-free even after storage for 10 to 12 months.
