Abstract
The heat recovery system comprises a heat pump with a closed refrigeration circuit including a restrictor, a compressor, and a condenser upstream of the restrictor and an evaporator downstream of it. The evaporator is part of an ambient or residual heat collector. An air inlet passage is connected to the interior of the collector, passing air through it and over the evaporator when running. The compressor, or part at least of the condenser or of a pre-cooler for the refrigerating medium, have direct thermal exchange with the collector or with the air inlet passage, so as to pre-cool the medium upstream of the restrictor when the system is running.
