Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to the "evaporator" element of a heat pump.
The 4 heat pumps for heating include: a refrigeration unit; an air or water refrigerant condenser intended to produce useful heat in the form of heating air or heating water (or other fluid); a regulator; an evaporator
The evaporator is intended to reject the cold produced by the refrigeration unit in return for the useful heat produced. This cold is usually discharged8, either into the outside air using a group comprising a battery of tubes fins and a fan placed in a box, either in water or another liquid using an exchanger comprising a coil embedded in the enclosure containing the water, this water being either lost or recycled. In this case, the recycled water can be heated by passage through solar collectors, or simply in tubes placed a few centimeters below a sunny area, or in water or fluids from which the heat can be recovered.
River water and heat-recoverable fluids are the best cold sources available and difficult to compete with, but not everywhere.
arrêté .The outside air or the sun are then used, which has the following drawbacks: - the outside air is often too cold for the operation of
the heat pump is economical - the sun is only present part of the day
This is why the present invention aims to use as "cold source" the following natural foods - the sun - the outside air with the water vapor it contains - possibly rain
On these bases I deposited on May 25, 1979 under N 79 13937 a patent application for an invention for a static sensor-evaporator and for a device optimizing operation
It appeared that a dynamic solution could open the way to wider applications. This is why, without returning to the optimization system which remains valid within the framework of the present patent application, I indicate that the objective of the present invention is achieved by = a battery-fan group 1 -2, see single plate, forming
evaporator of a heat pump system, capped by a sensor
solar glass pane 3 - the finned tube bank I or equivalent device, is
oriented towards the sun, the battery being very largely dimen-
sioned in order to provide a large area for solar radiation
4 - the peripheral frame of the sensor is perforated with holes 5 for
allow outside air to enter the battery-fan group - in front of or behind the battery is an air distributor 5
intended to equalize the passage of air through the entire surface of the
battery - motor fan 2 is placed at the rear of the system
The sensor-evaporator works in the following way s - the battery directly receives heat from direct solar radiation,
indirect and reflected by the glazing - it also draws heat from the air ventilated through the
system, both the sensible heat of the air and the latent heat of
condensation of water vapor in the air, possibly
the heat of solidification of 11 water condense, the frost formed for
before melting under the effect of solar radiation - when the sun is sufficient, the fan motor can
stopped .
During the day, the heat pump assembly operates using expensive electrical energy (day rate) but has a performance coefficient corresponding to a heat source with high potential.
Le dispositif objet de l'invention est destiné à servir de " source froide de chaleur " à un système quelconque de pompe à chaleur At night the coefficient of performance of the heat pump system is less good but the system uses a cheaper anergy (night tariff)
A variant consists in not installing the solar collector
In this case rain can be used as an auxiliary heat source; this variant is attractive in regions with high rainfall and low sunshine
The fact of being able to use the system twice a day makes it possible to reiterate the importance of heat storage, storage which f me relay between the heat pump and the use
The device which is the subject of the invention is intended to serve as a "cold source of heat" for any heat pump system
