Abstract

Procedure for obtaining phenothiazine derivatives of general formula: **(See formula)** in which: X represents a methylsulfonyl radical or a dimethylsulfamoyl radical, A represents a radical - (CH2) 3- or -CH2-CH (CH3) -CH2-, R1 represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl radical containing from 1 to 4 carbon atoms, R represents an alkanoyl radical whose alkyl part contains from 4 to 16 carbon atoms, alkenoyl whose alkenyl part contains from 4 to 16 carbon atoms, and B represents a straight or branched alkylene radical containing from 2 to 5 carbon atoms, as well as its addition salts with acids, characterized in that a phenothiazine of general formula (I) for which R represents an atom is reacted hydrogen with a product of general formula: R4- CO- Z wherein R4 represents an alkyl or alkenyl radical containing from 4 to 16 carbon atoms and Z represents a reactive moiety such as a halogen atom, the hydroxyl radical, a lower alkyloxy radical containing from 1 to 4 carbon atoms, an imidazolyl residue or an alkanoyloxy residue which can be such that the compound R4-CO-Z represents the acid anhydride R4-CO-O-CO-R4; and then the product obtained is optionally transformed into an addition salt with an acid.
