An axial piston compressor device, especially for small armored refrigeration machines, whose piston can be operated by a connecting rod and a free crank button on one side from a crank shaft of an engine, an articulation being provided between the connecting rod and the piston, the connecting rod head having an opening greater than the cross section of the crank button and a bushing being placed between the crank button and the connecting rod head, characterized in that the opening of the connecting rod head is less than the maximum section transverse of the motor crank shaft and because at least a part of the connecting rod can be tilted with the help of a tilting joint about an axis that is approximately perpendicular to a plane defined by the axis of the piston and the axis of the shaft.
