Abstract
A transmission rod arrangement comprising first and second constant speed universal joints interconnected by tubular means, each universal joint including inner and outer members and torque transmitting means located between the inner and outer members, characterized in that the outer member of the first joint is secured directly to one end of said tube means and the outer member of the second joint is secured directly to the other end of the tube means with the inner member of each joint having means for connection to a drive element, at least one of said joints being constructed so as to allow relative axial movement between the inner and outer members thereof and elastic sealing means acting between the inner and outer members of said joint or joints.
