Abstract

A head support for car seats having a carrying structure (4) is composed of two annular elements (5, 6) which are constructed as plastic moulded parts and are connected to one another by snapping them in. One of these elements (5) has two tubular parts (10) for receiving the adjusting and holding rods (22) and surrounding edges (5a and 5b) which are constructed such that they make it possible to attach a covering-material part (15) for covering and securing a first annular cushion part (16) made of elastomeric foam. The second annular element (6) is constructed in one piece with a second cushion part (20) made of elastomeric foam and having a closed surface skin.
