Abstract

Faro para vehículo automóvil, con cobertura rectangular, del tipo que comprende un reflector en el eje del cual están dispuestas una fuente luminosa de iluminación de cruce, que coopera con unos medios de corte, y una fuente de iluminación de carretera, interseccionando un ala horizontal superior y un ala horizontal inferior el reflector para delimitar la abertura rectangular del faro, caracterizado porque el ala superior está sensiblemente más próxima al eje óptico que el ala inferior, de tal manera que para una altura total del faro constante, la zona del espejo que proporciona la iluminación de cruce esté disminuida, lo que permite un compromiso óptimo para la iluminación de carretera y de cruce.
