Abstract

Método para producir etanol, dicho método comprendiendo las etapas de: a. proveer una pasta que comprende un material conteniendo almidón y agua; b. prelicuar la pasta de la etapa (a) en presencia de una beta-glucanasa; c. gelatinizar la pasta de la etapa (b) mediante cocción por inyección; d. licuar la pasta de la etapa (c) en presencia de una alfa-amilasa, una beta-glucanasa y una xilanasa; y e. sacarificar y fermentar la pasta de la etapa (d) para producir etanol. f. recuperar el etanol.

Claims (12)

1. Método para producir etanol, dicho método comprendiendo las etapas de:
a.
proveer una pasta que comprende un material conteniendo almidón y agua;
b.
prelicuar la pasta de la etapa (a) en presencia de una beta-glucanasa;
c.
gelatinizar la pasta de la etapa (b) mediante cocción por inyección;
d.
licuar la pasta de la etapa (c) en presencia de una alfa-amilasa, una beta-glucanasa y una xilanasa; y
e.
sacarificar y fermentar la pasta de la etapa (d) para producir etanol.
f.
recuperar el etanol.
2. Método según la reivindicación 1, que comprende también una etapa de presacarificación que se realiza después de la etapa de licuación (d) y antes de la etapa (e).
3. Método según cualquiera de las reivindicaciones 1 o 2, en el que la xilanasa deriva de una cepa de la especie Aspergillus, preferiblemente de una cepa de A. Aculeatus.
4. Método según cualquiera de las reivindicaciones 1-3, en el que la beta-glucanasa deriva de una cepa de la especie Bacillus, preferiblemente de una cepa de B. amyloliquefaciens.
5. Método según cualquiera de las reivindicaciones 1-4, en el que también está presente una endoglucanasa durante la etapa de licuación (d), dicha endoglucanasa derivada preferiblemente de una cepa de la especie Trichoderma, preferiblemente de una cepa de T.reesei.
6. Método según cualquiera de las reivindicaciones 1-5, en el que el material conteniendo almidón es obtenido de cereales y/o de tubérculos.
7. Método según cualquiera de las reivindicaciones 1-6, en el que el material conteniendo almidón es seleccionado de los grupos consistentes en maíz, trigo, cebada, centeno, mijo, sorgo, y mijo pequeño.
8. Método según cualquiera de las reivindicaciones 1-7, donde el material conteniendo almidón es seleccionado de los grupos que consisten en patata, batata, mandioca, tapioca, sagú, plátano, remolacha azucarera y caña de azúcar.
9. Método según cualquiera de las reivindicaciones 1-8, donde la fermentación de la etapa (e) se realiza utilizando un microorganismo, tal como bacterias y hongos (incluyendo levaduras), por ejemplo las especies Zymomonas y Sacharomyces tales como por ejemplo Sacaromices cerevisiae.
10. Método según cualquiera de las reivindicaciones 1-9, en el que la fermentación se realiza en presencia de fitasa y/o de proteasa.
11. Método según cualquiera de las reivindicaciones 1-10, en el que la prelicuación de la etapa (b) se realiza a una temperatura de 45 a 70°C, más preferiblemente de 53 a 66°C, aún más preferiblemente de 55 a 60°C, tal como 58°C durante un periodo de tiempo de 5 a 60 minutos, y más preferiblemente de 10 a 30 minutos, tal como alrededor de 15 minutos.
12. Método según cualquiera de las reivindicaciones 1-11, en el que la licuación de la etapa (d) se realiza a 60-95°C, preferiblemente a 80-90°C durante 10-120 minutos, más preferiblemente a 83-85°C durante 15-80 minutos.
