Abstract

The invention relates to a lock for doors equipped with hook bolt, according to the part pre-characterizer of claim 1.

With this, the space required for the rotation of the hook part of the hook bolt can be reduced and the protruding length of the bolt can be essentially shortened without compromising the closing security and operation of the provision.

In practice, this is done so that also in this case, the hook piece 6 of the hook bolt is rotationally stacked to guide piece 5 by means of bolt pivot 7, but pivot bolt 7 can move in a guide groove 5a arranged in the guide piece, and which is extends according to the longitudinal direction of the front plate 3. Additionally, the guide slot 8 of the lock box includes two branches 8a and 8b that extend in directions different. The first branch 8a is transverse to both the direction of movement of guide piece 5 of the hook bolt as to the faceplate 3. As a consequence, when the hook bolt moves out of the lock case, the hook piece 6 is rotated at the same time something in the direction favorable to clockwise in relation to guide piece 5 (Figure 3). According to the invention, the guide groove 8 of the lock box also includes an extended part 8c, which extends upward according to the direction of the faceplate 3, and which is normally separated from branch 8b by means of a connection piece 16, which is fixed to the box of lock through light pieces 16a. The light pieces 16a they are also sized so that if a force of lifting acts on the bottom edge of the hook piece 6, by example as a result of lifting the door out of its hinges, the pivot bolt 7 of the hook piece 6 breaks the light pieces 16a at the same time as the bolt 7 moves  on the one hand along the guide groove 5a of the piece of guide, and on the other hand along the extended part 8c of the Guidance slot of the ascending lock case in the Figures. The movement of the door out of their hinges in itself, will be failed since the piece of hook 6 has been sized relative to the opening 14a for existing bolt on the bump plate, so that the construction does not allow a sufficiently long upward movement. It should be appreciated that the bolt arrangement of hook according to the invention can be applied to different lock boxes regardless of whether the movements of the bolt are carried out directly through a wrench, with a key operated locking mechanism, or for example, through an electrical or electromagnetic arrangement.
