Abstract

Procedimiento para la obtención de poliisobutenos altamente reactivos con un contenido de agrupaciones de vinilideno dispuestas en los extremos de más de un 80 % en mol y con un peso molecular medio de 500 hasta 5000 Dalton mediante polimerización catiónica de isobuteno en fase líquida en presencia de un complejo de trifluoruro de boro, a temperaturas desde +40°C hasta -60°C, caracterizado porque se polimeriza en presencia de un complejo de trifluoruro de boro y a) un alcohol primario con 1 a 20 átomos de carbono o un alcohol secundario con 3 a 20 átomos de carbono o una mezcla, constituida por estos alcoholes, y b) un éter exento de grupos alquilo terciarios de la fórmula I R1-O-R2, en la cual significan Rl y R2 grupos alquilo primarios o secundarios con 3 a 10 átomos de carbono, con la condición, que al menos uno de los grupos Rl y R2 es un grupo alquilo secundario.
