Abstract

Vasija hermética a la presión para manipulación térmica cíclica, que se somete a ciclos térmicos severos a través de un intervalo de temperaturas que incluye temperaturas de hasta más de aproximadamente 371ºC. A diferencia de las vasijas herméticas a la presión convencionales que están construidas de placas dispuestas horizontalmente, la vasija está construida de placas que tienen más de 4,8 metros de altura. Como resultado, no hay costuras circunferencialmente en un área crítica de la sección cilíndrica de la vasija, proporcionando una pluralidad superior.
