Abstract

La invención se refiere a mezclas homogéneas que pueden procesarse termoplásticamente en cuerpos moldeados biodegradables fisiológicamente inocuos tales como envases para alimentos o productos farmacéuticos, pieles de embutidos y similares. Las mezclas inventivas contienen almidón dialdehídico con un grado de oxidación superior al 30% del almidón, no mostrando el citado almidón dialdehídico la reacción yodo-almidón, y almidón modificado, agua y otros plastificantes y, opcionalmente, otros biopolímeros y aditivos.
