Abstract

"Procedimiento de obtención de azaeritromicina". El objeto de la presente invención es un procedimiento que permite obtener azaeritromicina de fórmula I, a partir de 6,9-iminoéter de la eritromicina A, que es reducido catalíticamente a baja presión (menos de 5 bares), tras un ajuste de pH con un ácido apropiado y utilizando como disolventes alcoholes de 1-3 átomos de carbono o mezclas de éstos con agua. En las condiciones adecuadas se obtiene una azaeritromicina de alta pureza con un buen rendimiento.
