Abstract
Procedimiento para la fabricación de lingotes de colada continua en una instalación de producción que se compone de una instalación vertical de colada continua de barras redondas con salida horizontal, al menos un dispositivo de descascarillado y varias cajas de laminación sucesivas, caracterizado porque para la fabricación de lingotes redondos con un diámetro entre 90 y 300 mm, el lingote redondo que se está solidificando, después de la salida de la coquilla y antes de la entrada en la siguiente unidad de laminación, es descascarillado en su superficie y la capa marginal próxima a la superficie es pre-enfriada de manera definida a una temperatura óptima para cada tipo de acero antes de que el lingote redondo sea conformado, comenzando con, al menos, tres pasadas horizontales sucesivas y terminando con una pasada vertical, de tal modo que la superficie del lingote pre-conformado es nuevamente descascarillada antes de la última pasada.
