Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a procedimientos y composiciones para preparar análogos de nucleósidos biológicamente importantes que contienen anillos de azúcar 1,3-dioxolano. En particular, esta invención se refiere a la síntesis estereoselectiva del isómero beta (cis) mediante glucosilación de la base con un intermedio de fórmula (II) *fórmula* por debajo de una temperatura de aproximadamente -10º C, siendo R{sub,1} y L como se definieron anteriormente.
