Abstract
UN CONECTOR DE FIBRA OPTICA, QUE COMPRENDE UNA CLAVIJA Y UN RECEPTACULO, USA LA FUERZA DE RESORTE SUMINISTRADA POR EL COMBADO DE LA FIBRA DE LA CLAVIJA PARA MANTENER UNA CARGA COMPRESIVA CONTINUA EN LA JUNTA DE LA FIBRA SITUADA EN UN SURCO DE ALINEACION DE LA FIBRA. LA CLAVIJA TIENE UN RETENEDOR PARA FIJAR LA FIBRA A LA CLAVIJA Y UN REBORDE QUE ENCAJA SOBRE EL RETENEDOR, ESTANDO LA FIBRA DE LA CLAVIJA EXTENDIDA GENERICAMENTE DE FORMA RECTA DENTRO DEL REBORDE. EL DEDO ESTA ORIENTADO DENTRO DEL ALOJAMIENTO DEL RECEPTACULO, DE FORMA QUE CUANDO LA CLAVIJA SE INSERTA DENTRO DEL RECEPTACULO, EL DEDO SE EXTIENDEA TRAVES DE LA RANURA DEL REBORDE SEGUN UN ANGULO OBLICUO CON RESPECTO AL EJE DE LA CLAVIJA. DE DICHA FORMA, A MEDIDA QUE LA CLAVIJA ES INSERTADA EL EXTREMO DE LA FIBRA, ESTA SE DESLIZA DENTRO DEL SURCO DE ALINEACION DE LA FIBRA DEL DEDO Y SE PONE EN CONTACTO CON LA CARA DISTAL DE LA FIBRA DEL RECEPTACULO.
