Abstract

Dental implant screw.Of the type that incorporates a smooth neck (1) and a threaded body (2) to allow it to be implanted via a semi-sunken technique. It focuses its characteristics on the fact that the neck (1) has a slightly concave curve generator (9) to avoid transverse compression stress on the cortical part of the bone. The neck (1) has a first section (6) that is smooth and polished to enable an optimal contact area for the edge of the implant and a second section (7) with a thread to facilitate fixing the bone tissue simultaneously with the body (2) is slightly conical with a progressive reduction in diameter towards the apex (3). This is accentuated along its edges thus giving the body (2) and screw an automatic screw characteristic at the same time the thread is asymmetric, with an inclined rear plane (4) and a minimal incline on the front face (5).
