Abstract

Sistema de vídeoconferencia entre participantes situados en N, N>2 sitios distintos, que comprende en cada sitio una pantalla de visualización, medios de toma de imagen y de retorno de imagen, medios de toma de sonido y de retorno del sonido, en los cuales: la pantalla de visualización es una gran pantalla (10) del tipo pantalla de proyección o de retroproyección o del tipo de visión directa, formada por uno o varios sistemas de visualización que forma un panel de imágenes para visualizar simultáneamente a todos los participantes distantes en un espacio reconstruido sobre el panel de imágenes que forma esta pantalla (10), los medios de toma de sonido y de retorno comprenden para cada sitio dado medios de reparto espacial del sonido (100A, 100K, Hi, Mj) para establecer una correspondencia entre el sonido generado por cada participante distante y su imagen visualizada sobre la pantalla del sitio considerado, caracterizado porque: Un sitio considerado recibe las imágenes y las señales de audioemitidas por los otros sitios y las retorna en función de la correspondencia establecida, la visión y la escucha de los otros sitios y de los locutores que están simultaneadas y que se hacen por intercambios de voz entre varios a la vez sin interrupción o molestia a otros participantes, cada sitio que comprende: medios de toma y de retorno de sonido, que comprenden: una unidad de adquisición de las señales y de digitalización (201); una unidad de retorno de señales y de conversión digital analógica (205); n micrófonos (M1, Mn) distribuidos delante de los participantes del mencionado sitio; p altavoces (H1, HP) distribuidos a lo largo de la pantalla, p siendo proporcional al tamaño de la pantalla; medios de adaptación a la red que consisten en la reducción del tránsito; medios de control del eco; y medios de establecimiento de la correspondencia entre micrófono, señal emitida desde este micrófono y altavoz destinado a retornar esta señal, que comprenden medios de memorización (110) de una ode varias configuraciones estableciendo las correspondencias deseadas.
