Abstract

Alarm system for traffic emergencies that consists in receiving notification of a traffic accident received in the traffic coordination centre (1) via a modem, a controller card (2) which activates an RDS encoder (3) which is able to activate a suitable alarm signaller and provide the frequency of the RDS transmitter (4) operating in the accident zone, the alarm and geographical position message of the accident being transmitted by the transmitter (4) and received by the RDS tuners (5) active in the region of the RDS transmitter (4).
