POR PARTE DE LA RECEPCION SE MODULA EN FASE EL PORTADOR DE LA SEÑAL DE RADIODIFUSION AM, SE DECODIFICA LA SEÑAL DE LA INFORMACION ADICIONAL OBTENIDA, Y LA INFORMACION ADICIONAL DECODIFICADA ES UTILIZADA PARA FINES DE SINTONIZACION, CONEXION Y/O REPRODUCCION. LAS INFORMACIONES ADICIONALES (PI, PS, AF, AFT, TP, TA, TMC, RT) DE LA SEÑAL DE INFORMACION ADICIONAL, ESTAN DISTRIBUIDAS EN UN NUMERO DE GRUPOS REPETIDO CICLICAMENTE, CADA UNO EN DOS BLOQUES DE INFORMACIONES IGUAL DE LARGAS. CADA BLOQUE DE INFORMACION PRESENTA UNA PALABRA DE INFORMACION Y UNA PALABRA DE COMPROBACION, A PARTIR DEL CORRESPONDIENTE NUMERO DETERMINADO DE BITS DE DATOS, EN EL QUE LAS DOS PALABRAS DE COMPROBACION DE CADA GRUPO, ESTAN INTERFERIDAS POR DIFERENTES PALABRAS OFFSET.
