LOS IMANES PRESENTAN UNA CARA CONTINUA SOBRE LA QUE APARECEN UN POLO NORTE Y UN POLO SUR SEPARADOS UNO DE OTRO POR UNA LINEA DE CAMPO NULO (26). UN SEGUNDO YUGO (10) DE RETORNO DE FLUJO ESTA DISPUESTO ENFRENTE DE LA CARA CONTINUA DE LOS IMANES DE MANERA A DISPONER UN ENTREHIERRO (24) DE POCO ESPESOR DELANTE DE LAS DOS OTRAS DIMENSIONES. CON IMANES DE GRAN ENERGIA, EL GRADIENTE DE CAMPO MAGNETICO ES MUY ELEVADO, POR AMBAS PARTES DE LA LINEA DE CAMPO NULO Y LA ZONA LINEAL DE ESTE GRADIENTE PUEDE SER RELATIVAMENTE GRANDE (CERCANA AL MILIMETRO). ESTE CIRCUITO ESTA ASOCIADO A UNA SONDA DE MEDICION DE CAMPO PARA CONSTITUIR UN DETECTOR LINEAL DE MICRODESPLAZAMIENTOS. UTILIZANDO IMANES ANULARES, DICHO DETECTOR PERMITE MEDIR DESPLAZAMIENTOS RELATIVOS RADIALES O AXIALES DE LOS ANILLOS DE COJINETES DE BOLAS.
