ESTA INVENCION SE RELACIONA CON NUEVAS COMPOSICIONES Y METODOS PARA CONTROLAR Y ELIMINAR VERTIDOS ORGANICOS PELIGROSOS. UNA COMPOSICION EN PARTICULAS SECAS DE CARBON ACTIVO Y, ALTERNATIVAMENTE, MATERIALES CON CAPACIDAD DE ABSORCION, SE PUEDE UTILIZAR PARA CONTROLAR Y CONTENER VERTIDOS ORGANICOS, SOLIDIFICAR LOS VERTIDOS Y ELEVAR SUS PUNTOS DE INFLAMABILIDAD PARA HACERLOS INOCUOS. ESTAS COMPOSICIONES PUEDEN APLICARSE A LOS VERTIDOS MEDIANTE DISPOSITIVOS DE SUMINISTRO SIMILARES A UN EXTINTOR DE INCENDIOS, LOS CUALES ESPARCEN LAS COMPOSICIONES Y ABSORBEN LOS VERTIDOS, DESDE UNA DISTANCIA RELATIVAMENTE SEGURA SIN QUE SE PRODUZCAN SALPICADURAS DE MATERIAL PELIGROSO.
