DICHOS BENZOATOS SON EL 2-BROMO-5-(2-CLORO-4-TRIFLUOMETILFENOXI)BENZOATO (S)-1''-METOXICARBONILETILICO Y EL 2-BROMO-5-(2-CLORO-4-TRIFLUOMETILFENOXI)BENZOATO (S)-1''-ETOXICARBONILETILICO; SEGUN EL METODO, SE OBTIENEN POR REACCION DEL (S) ENANTIOMERO DE UN ESTER DE ACIDO LACTICO CON HALURO 2-BROMO-5-(2-CLORO-4-TRIFLUOMETILFENOXI)BENZOILICO. LA COMPOSICION INCLUYE, COMO INGREDIENTE ACTIVO, POR LO MENOS UNO DE DICHOS BENZOATOS, EN UNA CANTIDAD DE 0,01 A 95% EN PESO. EL METODO DE CONTROL DE MALAS HIERBAS COMPRENDE APLICAR, A LAS PLANTAS O AL SUELO, EN PREEMERGENCIA O EN POSTEMERGENCIA, UNA CANTIDAD HERBICIDAMENTE EFICAZ DE DICHOS BENZOATOS. LOS BENZOATOS PREPARADOS Y UTILIZADOS SEGUN LA INVENCION SON NUEVOS Y HERBICIDAMENTE EFICACES.
