Abstract
The invention relates to a circular heat exchanger. A flat tube 1 is wound into a helix in order to create a cylindrical body in the intermediate volumes existing between the various turns 4, 5, 6, 7 and the helix, there are arranged heat-exchanging ribs, which can be swept radially by the second agent involved in the heat exchange these ribs can be in the form of a corrugated strip 8 for a very small overall size, the heat exchanger has a high capacity while being of simple manufacture. Application in particular to evaporators or condensers in air-conditioning installations.
