Abstract

OBJECT OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to a lid for cardboard boxes, and more specifically intended for application in those cardboard boxes that include triangular prismatic reinforcements in the corners, and which also have internal recesses in their heads for the retention of the lid itself in its disposition on the mouth of the box in question.

Obviously, although the cover is intended for application in a specific cardboard box model, it may be applicable to other types of cardboard boxes of similar structure, that is, those that include the classic prismatic-triangular reinforcements in correspondence with their corners or internal vertical edges.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

Numerous types of cardboard boxes are known, in terms of their form of structuring and assembly, which include prismatic-triangular reinforcements in the corners, boxes normally intended for the manipulation and transport of fruit and vegetable products, and which are usually stacked between they.

These types of boxes usually lack a lid, and in the best case they include caps that overlap on the mouth of the box, supporting precisely in the prismatic reinforcements, which can cause the immediately superior boxes to lose their stability, to the power slide over said lid.

For this, and more specifically, the cover of the invention is constituted by an essentially rectangular cardboard sheet body, which has chamfers in their respective corners so as not to interfere with the face corresponding to the hypotenuse of the triangular contour of the prismatic reinforcements. of the box in its corners, with which the contour of the lid is perfectly adapted inside the top or mouth of the box in which it is applied, with the special feature that the smaller sides of the lid, They include pairs of trapezoid eyelashes intended to fit in recesses established for this purpose in the internal part and in proximity to the upper edge of the box heads, thus leaving the lid perfectly retained and coupled over the mouth of the box.

Another feature of the lid is that in an intermediate and longitudinal zone it is affected by two proximal and parallel grooves, suitable for inserting the fingers of the hand and constituting a handle for handling and placing the lid, or subtraction thereof from the box.

PREFERRED EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION

As can be seen in the figures summarized, the cardboard box cover of the invention generally referenced with (1), is constituted by a rectangular cardboard body, and whose corners have as many chamfers (2), while centered and longitudinally it presents a pair of grooves (4), in addition to conveniently distributed aeration holes (5).
