Abstract

1. Implante dental autorroscante, del tipo de los que son anclados en los huesos maxilares, son utilizados como base para la fijación de prótesis dentales y están constituidos por un cuerpo principal de forma esencialmente cilíndrica alargada, provisto externamente de un fileteado de rosca, de un material metálico tal como por ejemplo titanio, destinado a ser implantado en un maxilar y optativamente provisto en su extremo externo de un tramo troncocónico coaxial (3), en cuya base mayor externa está dispuesta una protuberancia (5) de altura relativamente reducida, esencialmente prismática recta y de sección transversal poligonal, asimismo coaxial del cuerpo principal y provista de un orificio central roscado (10) también coaxial, adaptado para recibir el acoplamiento por roscado de un tornillo de fijación de una prótesis dental, estando las caras laterales (8) de la protuberancia (5) prismática adaptadas para ser acopladas a elementos mecánicos externos a modo de llave, para roscar medianteel implante el interior de un orificio previamente practicado sobre el maxilar o mandíbula, caracterizado porque la superficie exterior de la protuberancia prismática (5) está dotada de una extensión tubular (6) hacia fuera, coaxial del cuerpo principal, provista de un orificio central (10) que permite el paso por roscado del tornillo de fijación y cuya superficie exterior (8) está dotada de un fileteado adaptado para recibir el fileteado de una rosca interna practicada en la base de un casquillo preprotésico, provisto de un orificio pasante que permite el paso del tornillo de fijación de la prótesis al implante, todo ello adaptado de modo que el casquillo preprotésico está adaptado para ser fijado sólidamente por roscado sobre dicha extensión tubular (6) dotada del fileteado externo (9), cubriendo también la protuberancia (5), sin necesidad de tornillo adicional alguno.
