Abstract

The invention relates to a covering hood system (100) with a covering hood (10) and a fastening device (50) for at least temporarily deactivating a urinal (130) fastened to a wall (110) and/or a floor (120), the fastening device ( 50) connects the cover hood (10) to the wall (110) and/or the floor (120), and wherein the cover hood (10) has a self-supporting body (12) which, in the intended state of use, supports the urinal (130) at least on one upper part (136) at least up to its basin opening (134). The invention also relates to a cover (10) for such a cover system (100).

Description

The invention relates to a covering hood system with a covering hood and a fastening device for a urinal, as well as a covering hood for such a covering hood system.

State of the art

There are urinals in many public toilets. If use of a urinal is undesirable, for example if there is a defect, plastic bags or the like are often stuck over the urinal in question.

As a further measure, it is known to close urinals with a cover in such a case. The DE 20307932 U1 discloses a lid that engages behind the flushing rim of the urinal. From the DE 20317340 U1 is known to glue an apron formed from plastic film parts with side panels on the pool.

Disclosure of Invention

The object of the invention is to provide a hygienic and stable cover system for a urinal.

Another object is to provide a cover for such a cover system.

The objects are solved by the features of the independent claims. Favorable configurations and advantages of the invention result from the further claims, the description and the drawing. The features listed individually in the patent claims can be combined with one another in a technologically meaningful manner and can be supplemented by explanatory facts from the description and by details from the figures, with further embodiment variants of the invention being shown.

According to one aspect of the invention, a covering hood system is proposed with a covering hood and a fastening device for at least temporarily shutting down a urinal fastened to a wall and/or a floor. The fastening device connects the cover to the wall and/or the floor. The cover hood has a self-supporting body which, in the intended state of use, covers the urinal at least on an upper part up to its basin opening, in particular its upper half up to and including the basin opening.

Advantageously, the covering hood can be emulated at least one contour of the urinal or at least partially emulate the contour of the urinal. The cover hood can thus cover an upper part of the urinal at least up to its basin opening.

The covering hood can enclose the contour tightly, in particular with a precise fit, so that accidental removal of the covering hood is made more difficult. Significant parts of the urinal can be covered so that they cannot be touched.

In particular, the body of the cover can be designed in the form of an outwardly curved shell protruding from the wall or floor. The inadvertent use of the urinal can be made more difficult by the convex configuration seen from the viewer's point of view. On the other hand, cleaning of the surface of the covering hood can be made easier.

Advantageously, the covering hood can also be designed to cover the urinal with its flush fitting, which can be operated mechanically or without contact. In the case of urinals in which a pipe arranged on the wall leads to the water supply from the flush fitting to the urinal, the pipe can also be covered by the cover hood.

The cover hood can favorably cover the entire device with the urinal and flush fitting and any pipe, or only part of the device, preferably in such a way that at least the basin opening of the urinal is covered.

The cover hood is advantageously made of a plastic, for example as an injection molded part or the like. It is reusable and can easily be stacked with other covers of the same type. The surface can advantageously have fungicidal and/or antibacterial properties.

A stable, high-quality and shapely cover can advantageously be provided, which can be permanently installed as required, so that a tool is required for loosening. Optionally, attachment, for example to the wall, can also be detachable without tools.

The fact that not only the basin opening of the urinal alone is covered, but at least a large part of the urinal or even the entire urinal can be covered by the cover, accidental use of the urinal can be avoided.

The cover is easy to clean and can be labeled or decorated if required. It is also possible to match the color, shape and the like of the covering hood to existing sanitary objects, so that a pleasing overall impression of the toilet room is created.

According to a favorable embodiment of the cover system, the self-supporting body of the cover can cover the urinal completely. All parts of the urinal can be covered so that they cannot be touched.

Advantageously, the covering hood can also be designed to cover the urinal with its flush fitting, which can be operated mechanically or without contact. In the case of urinals in which a pipe arranged on the wall leads to the water supply from the flush fitting to the urinal, the pipe can also be covered by the cover hood.

The cover hood can conveniently cover the entire facility with the urinal and flush fitting and any pipe.

According to a favorable embodiment of the covering hood system, the body of the covering hood can be made in one piece. This allows a simple manufacturing process for the covering hood.

According to a favorable embodiment of the covering hood system, the body of the covering hood can be designed in several parts. The parts of the body may be clipped, glued, or assembled in some other way.

According to a favorable embodiment of the covering hood system, the body of the covering hood can be formed from body segments which, when used as intended, overlap the urinal at least at its basin opening like a blind or lantern. This allows the cover to be accommodated when not in use on the wall above the urinal or, alternatively, below the same when the blind-like or lantern-like body is folded up and releases the bowl opening of the urinal.

According to a favorable embodiment of the covering hood system, the covering hood can be modeled on an outer contour of the urinal. Thus, the hood can build small.

According to a favorable embodiment of the covering hood system, the fastening device can have one or more clamping elements with which the body of the covering hood is clamped to the urinal in the intended use state. In particular, at least one area of the covering hood can be designed to be clamped to the covering hood. Opposite areas of the edge of the cover hood can be matched to the outline of the urinal, for example on the wall, in such a way that the urinal is clamped by opposite edge areas of the cover hood. Additionally or alternatively, corresponding clamping elements can be attached to the cover, which can be clamped to the urinal.

Additionally or alternatively, corresponding clamping elements can be arranged on the wall, in the case of a wall-hanging urinal, or on the floor, in the case of a urinal standing on the floor, into which the cover hood can be inserted.

According to a favorable embodiment of the cover system, the fastening device can have at least one locking means as a wall-side fastening element or cover-hood-side fastening element, which is locked in the intended use state on a complementary cover-hood-side fastening element or wall-side fastening element. In particular, the fastening device can have one or more wall hooks and/or a hook strip as the wall-side fastening element. For example, the cover hood can simply be hung on wall hooks or hook rails. For this purpose, the covering hood can also have an inward-pointing, flat edge section which is suitable for plugging into wall hooks or a hook strip.

According to a favorable embodiment of the hood system, the fastening device can comprise a frame as a fastening element on the wall and/or as a fastening element on the hood. A frame is suitable for attachments using screws, Velcro, double-sided adhesive tape or the like. Optionally, the cover hood can be hung on a frame.

According to a favorable embodiment of the cover system, the fastening device can have one or more magnets as a wall-side fastening element or cover-hood-side fastening element and as a complementary cover-hood-side fastening element or wall-side fastening element at least one holding plate for magnets. This allows quick attachment as well as quick disassembly. Several magnets and/or holding plates can be arranged on the edge of the cover hood.

According to a favorable embodiment of the hood system, the fastening device can have at least one suction cup as a wall-side fastening element or as a fastening element on the hood side.

This is beneficial if the urinal is attached to a tiled wall, so that there is a favorable base for one or more suction cups. This allows quick attachment as well as quick disassembly.

According to a favorable embodiment of the cover system, the fastening device can have a recess as a cover-hood-side fastening element, with which the body of the hood is fastened to a wall-side fastening element, in particular a flush fitting of the urinal, in the intended use state. For this purpose, an edge can advantageously be formed on the covering hood, which runs inside the covering skin and has the recess. This allows the cover hood to be attached to the wall in a particularly simple manner.

According to a favorable embodiment of the hood system, the fastening device can have a hook-and-loop fastener as a fastening element on the wall or on the hood. This allows quick assembly. The holding forces can be adjusted via the length of a corresponding Velcro strip. A hook strip can be arranged on the cover hood and a velor strip on the wall, which work together as a Velcro fastener, or vice versa. Likewise, the covering hood can alternately have a hook tape and a velor tape in pieces. A tiled, glazed or painted surface is favorable, on which the corresponding complementary component can be glued to the wall.

According to a favorable embodiment of the hood system, the fastening device can have a double-sided adhesive tape as the fastening element on the wall or the fastening element on the hood. This allows the cover hood to be assembled quickly.

It goes without saying that, if necessary, two or more of the types of attachment described can also be combined with one another.

According to a further aspect of the invention, a cover for a cover system for a urinal attached to a wall and/or a floor is proposed, with a self-supporting body which can be connected to a fastening device on the wall and/or the floor in the intended use state, wherein the body in the intended state of use covers the urinal at least on an upper part at least up to its basin opening.

Advantageously, the covering hood can be modeled on at least one contour of the urinal on which it is to be mounted and can model the contour of the urinal at least in certain areas. The cover hood can thus cover an upper part of the urinal at least up to its basin opening.

The cover is easy to clean and can be labeled or decorated if required. It is also possible to match the color, shape and the like of the covering hood to existing sanitary objects, so that a pleasing overall impression of the toilet room is created.

According to a favorable embodiment of the covering hood, the self-supporting body of the covering hood can be designed in such a way that it can completely cover the urinal. All parts of the urinal can be covered so that they cannot be touched.

According to a favorable embodiment of the covering hood, the body can be made in one piece. This allows a simple manufacturing process for the covering hood.

According to a favorable embodiment of the covering hood system, the body of the covering hood can be designed in several parts. The parts of the body may be clipped, glued, or assembled in some other way.

According to a favorable embodiment of the cover, the body can be formed from body segments which, when used as intended, overlap the urinal like a blind or lampion at least at its basin opening, in particular its upper half up to and including the basin opening. This allows the cover to be stowed on the wall above the urinal when not in use, or alternatively below the same when the blind-like or lantern-like body is folded up to expose the urinal.

The Figures 1 to 3 show a first embodiment of the invention. figure 1 shows a perspective front view of a wall-mounted urinal 130 with a wall-side fastening element 52 in the form of openings in the wall 110 of a fastening device 50. figure 2 shows a perspective front view of a cover 10 with the wall-side fastening element 52 after figure 1 connected is. figure 3 shows a side view of the hood 10 after figure 2 .

The cover system 100 includes a cover 10 and a fastening device 50 with one or more wall-side fastening elements 52, for example wall plugs, and one or more cover-side fastening elements 54, for example screws or pins for insertion into the wall-side fastening elements 52. The Cover 10 is used to at least temporarily disable the urinal 130 attached to the wall 110. The attachment device 50 connects the body 12 to the wall 110.

The urinal 130 has an upper portion 136 that transitions into a bowl with a bowl opening 134 .

The cover hood 10 has a self-supporting body 12 which completely covers the urinal 130 in the intended use state. The edge of the cover hood 10 completely surrounds the contour 132 of the urinal 130 attached to the wall 110.

The body 12 of the hood 10 is formed in one piece and rigid in this embodiment. On the upper side of the cover 10, two troughs 16 are arranged laterally. such a trough 16 is also present in the center on the lower side. These stabilize the covering hood 10 , which is designed like a shell, and can also be used to fasten the covering hood 10 to the wall 110 . In this exemplary embodiment, pins (not shown) complementary to the openings 52 can be arranged on the cover 10 and can engage in the openings 52 in the wall 110 in order to fasten the cover 10 to the wall 110 .

Optionally, the body 12 of the cover hood 10 can be designed in such a way that the side parts are adapted to the contour 132 of the urinal 130 so that they enable a non-positive connection with the urinal 130 . For this purpose, the inside of the covering hood 10 can be provided with a non-slip covering in this area.

The Figures 4 and 5 show another embodiment of the invention with a short cover 10. figure 4 shows a perspective front view of a covering hood 10, which is connected to a wall-side fastening element 52, as in the exemplary embodiment according to FIG figure 1 is shown. figure 5 shows a side view of the hood 10 after figure 4 .

Unlike in the previous embodiment, the edge of the cover 10 does not completely surround the contour 132 of the urinal 130 attached to the wall 110. The cover 10 is shorter and covers the urinal 130 only to the extent that the upper part 136 up to and including the pelvic opening 134 of the urinal 130 is covered to make unwanted use virtually impossible. The cover hood 10 ends with an edge 14 approximately in the lower third of the urinal 130.

The Figures 6 to 8 show another embodiment of the invention. figure 6 shows a perspective front view of a blind-like or lantern-like cover hood 10 over a wall-mounted urinal 130. figure 7 13 shows a view of the cover 10 and the urinal 130. The body 12 of the cover hood 10 is formed from a plurality of body segments 20 which, in the intended use state, overlap the urinal 130 like a blind or like a lantern. For this purpose, the covering hood 10 is fastened to the wall 110 with a frame as a fastening element 54 on the covering side, for example glued to an adhesive surface or screwed on with screws and dowels or the like.

The body segments 20 can optionally each be rigid. In the illustrated embodiment, these can have a flexible or limp material between stable ribs 56, two of which in figure 6 are indicated is clamped in the intended use condition. When the cover hood 10 is pushed together, it then takes up very little space ( figure 8 ).

figure 9 shows a perspective front view of a further embodiment of a blind-like or lampion-like covering hood 10 over a wall-mounted urinal 130 similar to that in FIG figure 6 . In this example, the covering hood 10 is shortened so that the entire urinal 130 is not covered, but essentially the upper part 136 of the urinal is covered up to the bowl opening 134 . The covering hood 10 terminates with an edge 14 which is placed approximately at the level of the pelvic opening 134 when the covering hood 10 is fully folded out.

The cover hood 10 has a rigid body 12 that curves outwards away from the wall 110 .
