Definitions
- the invention relates to the technical field of building or housing opening handles. More particularly, the invention relates to the rapid mounting of at least one handle on a window, door or French window type opening mechanism.
- the document DE 949 275 C describes fixing a square sash.
- window, door or French window type sashes are marketed and delivered separately from their handles for storage reasons and particularly for stacking the sashes, but also to allow customization of the sashes by the style of the chosen handles.
- crutches on plate which are in the form of a shaped plate to be pressed against a portion of the door and a so-called crutch handle generally in the shape of L or buttons extending in a plane substantially perpendicular to the plate; and crutches on rosette which are in the form of a crutch around which is arranged a so-called rosette washer.
- handles are conventionally intended to be arranged on an opening via a square itself mounted in a follower intended to actuate the lock or the locking mechanism of the opening during its rotation.
- the square is a generally metallic rod allowing the articulation of the handle in relation to the opening.
- the square can be either through in the case of a trim, that is to say the assembly of two opposite handles on either side of an opening or blind in the case of an assembly of a handle on one side of the sash only.
- the handles are fixed via the rosette or via the plate directly on the opening by a needle system and/or by screwing.
- These conventional fixing systems require tools, leave marks on the opening during eventual dismantling and the fixing operation is in itself neither quick nor easy.
- Numerous inventions propose so-called rapid or simplified systems for fixing or mounting a handle on the leaf, taking into account, for example, the variation in thickness of the leaf.
- the adjusting device comprises a coupling with a magnet or a thread for fixing the adjusting device on the locking chamber, an outer part intended to be fixed on the rosette or the plate and an inner part with the magnet, the parts outer and inner being adjustably connected to each other by an intermediary.
- an insert with complementary teeth of the rack is inserted in the handle during the translation of the handle on the square, the teeth of the insert cooperate with the teeth of the rack and deform slightly to facilitate the movement of the handle on the rack.
- the teeth return to their undeformed shape and freeze the position of the handle on the square with no possible return.
- the adjustment of the mounting relative to the thickness of the door is achieved by the progression of the translation of the second handle on the square until said second handle comes into abutment against the door.
- a grub screw is inserted into the sleeve of the handle which cooperates with a groove made in the insert of said second handle.
- None of these inventions takes into account the ergonomics or gestures of the non-professional end user. Indeed, the latter may be required to mount his own personalized handles on several different openings in order to harmonize a room, the assembly but especially the dismantling of said handles are complex and there is no margin for error. possible. In addition, rare or even non-existent are the models of handles that fit just as well on a window as on a door or a French window and offer quick assembly, without tools and adaptable to any thickness of opening. Furthermore, these devices present risks of reliability and durability associated with locking by screwing or using a spring to hold the teeth in position in the rack.
- the object of the invention is to remedy all or part of the aforementioned drawbacks and in particular to allow rapid and ergonomic assembly of a fitting or of a single handle offering an adjustment range allowing adaptation to the thickness of the opening.
- the advantage of such a handle assembly lies in the ease of assembly and securing of the first handle to the square opening and to the opening. Indeed, the assembly is rapid since a translation of the first handle on and around the square of the opening is sufficient for the assembly of the first handle. Securing is then performed intuitively by actuation of the handle in rotation in a direction of rotation of the handle, preferably in the direction of actuation of the handle.
- the first handle is preferably configured to, in the connection configuration, rotate the square opening relative to the opening.
- the rotational movement of the first handle around the longitudinal axis of the square opening can preferably be at an angle of substantially 45° or 90° or 135°.
- a 45° rotation preferably corresponds to mounting a handle assembly comprising a single handle on a window without depth adjustment.
- a 90° rotation preferably corresponds to mounting a handle assembly comprising a first handle and a second handle with depth adjustment.
- a rotation of 135° preferably corresponds to mounting a handle assembly with a single handle on a window with a grappling hook device.
- the relief of the square opening preferably extends over a determined distance, each point of the distance preferably corresponding to a depth of depression of the handle. So the cooperation the relief of the sash square and the housing of the first handle at one point allows locking in translation at the chosen depth, which allows the easy use of such a handle assembly regardless of the thickness of the opening.
- the handle assembly according to the invention preferably makes it possible to absorb a variation in thickness of the leaf of the order of substantially 10 mm.

- the complementary relief of the housing can be arranged on the insert.
- the thickness of the internal wall of the insert preferably has a radial variation forming a cylindrical ramp.
- the inner wall of the insert preferably forms a radially progressive ramp.
- This geometry makes it possible to move a moving part of an adapter from a retracted position in which the complementary relief and the relief of the square opening are not in contact, to an engagement position in which the complementary relief and the relief of the sash square are matched and engaged with each other.
- the ramp can be provided directly in the housing.

- the spring acts between the handle and the sash. It is commonly mounted inside the rosette or the fixing plate of the handle on the opening, for example a door. It is therefore necessary for said rosettes or plates to be firmly fixed to the door in order to create the fixed point of support for the spring, making it possible to counter the force of rotation during manipulation of the handle.
- This fixing is carried out by screws, either through, securing the first rosette or plate by its direct screwing into the second rosette or opposite plate through the thickness of the door, or by screwing the rosettes or plates on either side. other of the door in the material of the door itself, usually wood screws.

- the return spring function and a hook mechanically reinforcing the holding of the first handle 110 on the opening 200 are integrated directly into the sash hole 203.
- the expansive base 171 is formed of two separate parts free to rotate relative to each other, and connected to each other by the spring 173.
- the expansive base 171 includes an expander ring 180 and a spring clip core 181.
- the expander ring 180 is positioned around the spring clip core 181 in the assembled configuration.
- the blades 174 of the expanding base 171 are oriented towards the first handle 110.
- the end 173a of the spring 173 cooperates with a portion of the attachment core of the spring 181 and the end 173b cooperates with the expansion ring 180.
- Another mode would consist in carrying out the direct screwing of the base by a suitable thread provided on the outer body of the tubular portion of the base penetrating into the hole 203 in order to secure the base with the opening during the rotation movement securing the handle to the square opening.
